1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using CaterAO, users agree to these Terms and Conditions and the CaterAO Privacy Policy. Users who do not agree should not use the app or services.

2. Platform roles

  • Customers may search for catering options, submit event requirements, place or manage orders, communicate with support, and request account deletion.
  • Vendors may manage business profiles, menus, pricing, availability, order acceptance, preparation status, service areas, and customer coordination.
  • Agents may assist with onboarding, verification, order coordination, vendor support, customer support, or other assigned operational tasks.
  • Admins may manage users, vendors, agents, orders, content, settings, disputes, compliance requests, support records, and account actions.

3. Account responsibilities

Users must provide accurate information, keep login credentials secure, and use CaterAO only for lawful purposes. Users are responsible for activity under their account unless unauthorized use is reported promptly.

CaterAO may suspend or restrict accounts that appear fraudulent, abusive, unsafe, inactive, legally non-compliant, or in violation of these terms.

4. Orders, vendors, and service fulfillment

CaterAO may act as a technology platform connecting customers with vendors and support teams. Vendor offerings, prices, availability, taxes, delivery, cancellation terms, and fulfillment details may vary by vendor, location, event date, and service requirements.

Customers are responsible for reviewing order details before confirmation. Vendors are responsible for maintaining accurate menus, pricing, service areas, commitments, licenses, and fulfillment standards.

5. Payments, refunds, and cancellations

Payment, refund, cancellation, commission, settlement, or invoice rules may be shown in the app, order flow, vendor agreement, or support communication. Users agree to pay applicable charges, taxes, fees, cancellation charges, or settlement adjustments linked to their role and transaction.

6. Location-based features

CaterAO may use location data to display nearby vendors, validate service availability, coordinate delivery or pickup, support agent tasks, and help admins resolve service issues. Users can control location permissions through device settings. Disabling permissions may limit location-based features.

7. Prohibited use

  • Do not submit false, misleading, unlawful, infringing, harmful, or abusive content.
  • Do not misuse customer, vendor, agent, admin, order, location, payment, or support information.
  • Do not attempt unauthorized access, scraping, reverse engineering, interference, or security testing without written permission.
  • Do not use CaterAO to facilitate unlawful goods, unsafe services, fraud, harassment, or policy violations.

8. Account deletion

Users may request account deletion through the Delete Account page or the in-app deletion option where available. CaterAO may verify the requester before processing deletion. Some records may be retained where required for legal, tax, accounting, fraud prevention, dispute, safety, or regulatory purposes.

9. Disclaimers and liability

CaterAO is provided on an as-available basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, CaterAO disclaims warranties that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every event requirement. Liability is limited as permitted by applicable law and any written agreement between the relevant parties.
