Delete Your CaterAO Account

Customers, vendors, agents, and admins can request deletion of their CaterAO account and eligible personal information using the process below.

Account deletion process

  1. 1Open the CaterAO app and use the in-app account deletion option if it is available for your role.
  2. 2If you cannot access the app, contact [CaterAO support email] with the subject line: Delete my CaterAO account.
  3. 3Include your registered mobile number or email address and your role: customer, vendor, agent, or admin.
  4. 4For vendor, agent, or admin accounts, include business name, assigned region, or organization details if applicable.
  5. 5CaterAO support may verify your identity or authority before processing the request.
  6. 6After verification, CaterAO will delete or de-identify eligible account data and confirm completion through the available contact channel.

Data deleted or de-identified

  • Profile details such as name, email, mobile number, role, saved addresses, and account preferences where eligible.
  • Customer event preferences, support notes, and app activity that are not required for legal, financial, security, or dispute reasons.
  • Vendor, agent, or admin profile data that is not required for operational, compliance, audit, settlement, or legal reasons.
  • Device identifiers, notification tokens, and analytics identifiers linked to the deleted account where technically feasible.

Data that may be retained

CaterAO may retain certain records after account deletion when required or reasonably necessary for order history, invoices, taxes, accounting, payment disputes, refunds, fraud prevention, safety, audit logs, legal claims, regulatory obligations, security, or enforcement of agreements.

Retained data is limited to the purpose requiring retention and is deleted or de-identified when it is no longer needed, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

Important notes

  • Deleting the CaterAO app from a device does not automatically delete the account.
  • Open orders, pending payments, vendor settlements, disputes, or active investigations may need to be completed before deletion is finalized.
  • Some account types, especially vendor, agent, and admin accounts, may require additional verification before deletion.
  • After deletion, access to order history, vendor tools, agent tasks, admin tools, and saved preferences may no longer be available.
